Aaron Lewis of Staind is probably the most talented singer/songwriter around today
Austin Winkler and Gerard Way have o.k. voices but are terrible lyricists especially Winkler. I like hinder but they must have the worst lyrics of any band besides for maybe Saving Abel (which sound exactly like hinder). And although I disagree, I can't complain with Chris Cornell and Maynard James Keenan. Just to list some more greats. Layne Staley Eddie Vedder James Headfield Chad Kroeger (just kidding) Check out Pete Murray of Lo-Pro and Chokt (Chokt is on myspace) He's younger than these guys but has some of the best pipes i've ever heard. |

In my opinion, Josh Todd and Austin Winkler are the best.

Chris Cornell, no questions asked. Especially when he was with Soundgarden.

It's a three way tie for me between Robert Plant, Paul Rodgers and Eric Clapton (that's right I like soulful singers and Clapton is one of the best at it)

Ronnie James dio used to really be great until he got older and couldn't back up his voice with some lung power but that is what happens when you get older so it's not his fault. Listen to Rainbow and when he was in Sabbath and his solo stuff. Totally awesome voice from such a small guy
