Seriously, think about every Toni Braxton song and tell me one unbeat happy or sexual song... All her songs are about being hurt, in some sort of pain, or she is putting her foot in some dudes azz???
I like Toni Braxton, and think she is hella sexy! However, I think she can make new happy/sexual songs for her fans like me.... :-) |

She did. "You're Making Me High", but that was just one song huh? Well, when she released her second album, she wantedto be sexy, but that song was the only one like that. I guess her theme as an artist is to sing about sad songs, or about people being heart broken & hurt. Oh, in then on her first album she released out, "Give You My Heart" with Baby Face. It was happy upbeat, but not sexy. But on the real, we gotta love her. I'm sure we all can relate to her sad songs. When times get rough, we turn to Toni Braxton. And times get rough for people everday.
I don't know, I guess Toni Braxton is who everyone who likes her, turn to when we're hurt. She is well known for the tough times music. When things are getting tough, Toni's that one artist there for us. During those times, she's # 1 Lady to listen to. But, yup, Toni Braxton is our downside source in the music business. |

"You're Making Me High", "You Mean The World To Me" sad songs? The girl somewhat has sex appeal, so she don't need to sing about it sex, unprofessional. The sad songs are what made her. Since her debut solo "Love Should've Brought You Home" from the Bommerang movie, it was like what Elton John said, "Sad Songs Say So Much". So, La'Face made her an artist in pain and it worked!

Well, Crystal pretty much gave a good answer here, so I would just pick her as the best answer if I were you. I'm just starting out, but I'll start out someplace else. Look like she's got this one, so I don't have a problem moving on to another question. I can't give her a thumb up because I'm only on level two, but She's got a thumb up from me too.
Oh and At least I've got 2 points just for putting my two cents in. SO I want to THAANK YOU! |

I agree with what Crystal said. I'd also give her the best answer. She's made a point. Everyone isn't able to sing happy songs. We need some kind of feeling down or blue songs.
